With > 50 employees and €1.6 billion in assets under management, BlueEarth invests globally across all impact sectors. Our integrated strategy focuses on social impact in emerging markets and environmental impact in developed ones, through direct and co-investments in both equity and credit.

We are currently seeking an Asset Class Specialist to join our Private Equity Partnerships (Fund of Funds, Co-Investment, and Secondaries) team, in London or Abu Dhabi. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment alongside driven and professional colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising Leadership

  • Serve as the primary fundraising lead for Private Equity Partnerships products and mandates, with a strong focus on our new flagship Impact Secondaries fund

  • Strategic lead for client coverage in Asia and the Middle East.

  • Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with institutional investors, family offices, foundations, and other relevant prospective clients.

  • Lead investor meetings, presentations, and due diligence processes.

  • Support and enable regional fundraising teams in the DACH Region, the UK, and the US with technical expertise and as representative of the investment team.

Asset Class Expertise

  • Serve as the asset class expert for Private Equity Partnerships.

  • Able to answer detailed and technical questions about all Private Equity Partnerships products and investments.

  • Leverage first hand insights from Private Equity Partnerships meetings, including Investment Committees, pipeline meetings, and selectively due diligence meetings.

Market Development

  • Map and prioritize new markets for fundraising expansion, with an initial focus on Asia and Middle East.

  • Develop tailored strategies to penetrate and grow our investor base in these regions.

Internal Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary link between the Private Equity Partnerships team and the Fundraising & IR team.

  • Work closely with investment, impact, and product teams to ensure alignment on fund positioning, messaging, and reporting.

  • Provide feedback from the field to inform product development and marketing.

Thought Leadership

  • Actively contribute to LP-facing materials, market insights, and thought leadership pieces that position the firm and its strategies with prospective investors.

  • Represent the firm at industry conferences, webinars, and events as an expert in impact secondaries.

  • Contribute to thought leadership pieces and marketing collateral.

Job requirements

  • At least 10 years of relevant fundraising experience in private markets, preferably with proven experience raising secondary funds.

  • Demonstrates deep technical fluency in private equity secondaries, co-investments, and fund-of-funds structures, and can engage credibly with sophisticated LPs.

  • Proven track record of fundraising from institutional investors and/or family offices in Asia and the Middle East, including managing full-cycle investor relationships.

  • Natural entrepreneur and innovator, with experience  of positioning and scaling first-time funds and innovative, first-of-its-kind strategies.

  • Deep understanding of the secondaries market and impact investing landscape.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.

  • Ability to work independently across teams and geographies.

  • Willingness to travel extensively internationally.

  • Advanced degree in finance, economics, business, or related field.
