The Role

We are seeking a client‑facing, sales‑focused Associate to support and advance our fundraising and investor relations activities in the DACH region. Working closely with the Head of Fundraising DACH, you will help drive investor outreach, cultivate relationships with existing clients, and ensure top‑quality service. You will also contribute to the team’s marketing initiatives and play a key role in building and extending our investor pipeline in the DACH region

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to identify and qualify prospective institutional investors (pension funds, banks, family offices, foundations) and manage proactive outreach.

  • Coordinate logistics and participation in investor meetings, roadshows and events, ensuring seamless scheduling, briefing materials and follow-up.

  • Maintain accurate records of investor interactions and pipelines in our CRM (e.g. DealCloud); ensure data hygiene and reporting accuracy.

  • Prepare and tailor pitch decks, teasers, due diligence questionnaires, and RFP responses.

  • Respond to investor queries and support the preparation of portfolio updates, quarterly/annual reports, and other client communications.

  • Track fundraising metrics (leads, conversion rates, commitments) and summarise market intelligence and competitor activities for the DACH fundraising team.

  • Collaborate with colleagues in Marketing & Client Support, Fund Operations, and Legal to ensure accurate information and smooth investor onboarding.

Job requirements

  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in institutional fundraising, sales, investor relations..

  • Private markets background is a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related discipline.

  • Native German and fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.

  • Enterpreneurial mindset and strong interpersonal and sales skills, with the ability to build and maintain trust‑based relationships with institutional investors.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel and familiarity with CRM systems.

  • An analytical, organised mindset with a genuine interest in impact investing, private markets and sustainability.
