Blue Earth Capital AG is a Switzerland-based global impact investment firm with offices in Zug, New York, London and soon Madrid. We aim to address critical social and environmental challenges while achieving market-rate returns. With > 50 employees and €1.6 billion in assets under management, BlueEarth invests globally across all impact sectors. BlueEarth is a global impact manager seeking to address both environmental and social challenges, via private equity, private credit, fund investments, and secondary transactions.
We are currently seeking an Investment Analyst to join our Private Equity Partnerships Team in Madrid. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment alongside driven and professional colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct financial and qualitative analysis of potential investment opportunities across private equity fund investments, co-investments, and secondaries.
Perform market research and industry analysis to support investment theses.
Support all aspects of the investment process, including due diligence, financial modeling, valuation, and risk assessment.
Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for internal committees.
Monitor the performance of portfolio investments and maintain regular communication with fund managers and co-investment partners.
Contribute to quarterly and annual reporting for investors, ensuring high-quality insights and data accuracy.
Collaborate with senior team members on deal execution and portfolio management activities.
Work with colleagues across offices and functional teams to foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Job requirements
University degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus.
1-3 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or a related financial field.
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with financial databases.
Passion for impact investing and aligning financial objectives with social and environmental outcomes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
Strong attention to detail, self-starter attitude, and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
