We are seeking a Private Credit Investment Professional. In this position, you will support the Blue Earth Capital Private Credit team focused on the Americas (with a particular focus on Latin America). Responsibilities include analyzing investment opportunities, contributing to due diligence processes, preparing and conducting management calls, drafting investment recommendations, deal execution, and ongoing monitoring and portfolio management. The position is located in Madrid, Spain.
Role & Responsibilities
Leading quantitative and qualitative analysis of prospective investment opportunities, including financial modeling, credit risk assessment, industry research and operational analysis
Developing investment structure and thesis, conducting on site due diligence and producing investment recommendations, either independently or in close coordination with an analyst/associate
Leading negotiation and drafting of legal transaction documentation, coordinating with internal and external counterparties
Managing portfolio companies throughout investment period, including close contact with management, oversight of monitoring materials produced by analysts/associates, and being proactive in all matters arising in the ordinary course of investment management, acting quickly to identify, address and correct issues
Contributing to portfolio valuation discussions, liaising with company management and internal and external teams as needed
Contributing to strategic planning for Americas department with a focus on Latin America
Performing thematic research into emerging business sectors and markets, and driving thought leadership within the team
Support new product and business initiatives for the private credit platform when necessary

Job requirements
At least 7 years of relevant work experience in financial services or investment management (preferably Private Credit or Leveraged Finance)
Strong financial modelling skills, investment writing and interpersonal skills
Experience leading due diligence and/or risk assessments in emerging markets (ideally focused on growth stage businesses and/or financial inclusion opportunities)
Demonstrated passion for impact investing, development finance or social enterprise work
Self-motivated and proactive team player with entrepreneurial mindset
Degree from a top-tier university, preferably with a focus on Business Administration, Accounting, Finance and/or Economics and excellent academic record
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Experience working in or with Latin America
Business fluency in Spanish required
