Role Summary

We are seeking a Vice President to join our Private Equity Partnerships Team in Madrid. This is a senior role for an experienced investment professional who will take ownership of deal processes end-to-end and play a key part in shaping the team’s strategy and portfolio.

The PE Partnerships team invests across secondaries, fund commitments (primaries), and co-investments, with secondaries as the core strategy and the BEIS II fund as its flagship vehicle. You’ll lead investment processes end-to-end, mentor junior team members, and represent BlueEarth externally with fund managers and partners.

What you’ll do

  • Lead end-to-end investment processes, with a primary focus on secondary transactions alongside fund commitments and co-investments

  • Drive due diligence, including financial analysis, operational assessment, impact evaluation, and reference checks on fund managers

  • Develop and present investment recommendations to the Investment Committee, including detailed memoranda and risk assessments

  • Manage and deepen relationships with fund managers, co-investment partners, and market intermediaries

  • Oversee portfolio monitoring, performance analysis, and reporting across the PE Partnerships portfolio

  • Contribute to the development of investment strategy, including sector focus, geographic allocation, and portfolio construction

  • Mentor and supervise junior team members, supporting their professional development and quality of output

  • Collaborate across offices and functional teams, including Fund Operations, Legal, and Impact, to drive integrated investment decisions

Why join

  • Senior role with direct ownership of investment decisions and strategy input

  • International team, meaningful work, and real autonomy to build

  • Opportunity to shape the growth of a €1.7 billion impact investment platform

Job requirements

  • University degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; MBA or CFA strongly preferred

  • 6–10 years of experience in private equity, fund-of-funds, secondaries, or a related field, with a demonstrated track record of leading investment processes

  • Deep understanding of private equity fund structures, GP economics, and secondary market dynamics

  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills

  • Established network of relationships with fund managers, placement agents, and advisors in the PE space

  • Passion for impact investing and commitment to aligning financial objectives with social and environmental outcomes

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages (especially Spanish) are a plus

  • Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple workstreams, and operate effectively in a lean, high-accountability environment
