Blue Earth Capital (BlueEarth) is a global, independent impact investment firm headquartered in Switzerland, with offices in Zug, New York, London, and Konstanz, and soon in Madrid. The firm operates dedicated private equity, private credit, and fund solutions strategies, as well as separately managed accounts. BlueEarth seeks to deliver measurable impact alongside attractive, market-rate financial returns. The firm is owned by the Blue Earth Foundation, a Swiss Stiftung (charitable foundation), which reinforces a long-term orientation and strong governance culture.

Role Summary

We're looking for a CFO to own the financial strategy, reporting, and control environment of a growing, multi-entity international business. This is a hands-on leadership role: you'll professionalize core finance foundations while building the planning and performance engine we need to scale.

You'll lead a small team (two direct reports, with scope to grow), partner closely with the CEO and leadership team, and work across jurisdictions including Switzerland, UK, US, Germany, and Spain.

What you'll do

• Lead financial strategy, budgeting, and forecasting across entities

• Own management reporting, KPIs, and decision support for leadership

• Drive accounting quality, consolidation, and audit readiness

• Build scalable finance processes and internal controls

• Coordinate tax, compliance, and governance across multiple jurisdictions

• Partner with HR on compensation processes and payroll governance

• 12+ years in senior finance roles (CFO, Finance Director, Head of Finance)

• Experience in asset management, private markets, or complex multi-entity firms

• Strong financial fundamentals: accounting, reporting, controls, planning

• Hands-on operator comfortable in a lean, high-accountability environment

• CPA, ACCA, Swiss expert, or equivalent qualification preferred

• English required; German strongly preferred
